About the Author
Nerine Martin loves all things crafty and colorful. From trying her hand at beading, coloring, scrapbooking, card making & much more over the years, her love of using color has always shone through. As a Wife, Mother of two and Veteran, she has experienced long term anxiety & depression and continues to practice being mindful on a daily basis. It was through therapy that she learnt to use her love for coloring (mostly done throughout her childhood) to help relieve her symptoms of stress, anxiety & depression. She found that by using coloring, a form of art therapy, helped distract her mind's thought processes and had a calming effect on her mind and body. Nerine also discovered an interest in drawing mandalas and now enjoys designing her own mandala coloring books. It was from her personal and life experiences that she created the Mandalas for Mindfulness series of Adult Coloring Books. Each book has been designed with the focus of helping other Veterans, and Men and Women living with stress, anxiety & depression.
