This book is the result of the research undertaken for the publication of a new catalogue raisonné  of Goya’s drawings, one of the keystones of the Prado’s collection and one to which the Prado has devoted significant attention. Presented as a chronological survey of his drawings throughout his career, from Italian Sketchbook to the Bordeaux Albums, this text offers an up-to-date vision of the ideas that reappear in Goya’s work and reveals the ongoing relevance of his thinking.
