Larissa Pham's memoir is brimming with art of all kinds as she muses on the strengths and heartbreaks found in human relationships. You don't need to be an art history major like she was to appreciate the beauty of the artwork she discusses, works ranging from Laura Owens to Cerith Wyn Evans to Agnes Martin. I read this book with Google open next to me so I could see all the works she mentions for myself, and it was incredible. About the Author
Larissa Pham is an artist and writer in Brooklyn. Born in Portland, Oregon, she studied painting and art history at Yale University. She has written essays and criticism for the Paris Review Daily, The Nation, Art in America, Guernica, and elsewhere. She was an inaugural Yi Dae Up fellowship recipient from the Jack Jones Literary Arts Retreat. She is also the author of Fantasian, a novella.
